Lasagna is one of those staple dishes that practically everyone knows.
Whats the meal that basically everyone knows. The meal that people bring over if you’re sick, or to feed you for a full week? lasagna. It is the answer to anyones hangriness.
If you ever need to feed a large number of people something quick and easy. Lasagna is your answer. It can be prepared in as little as 15 minutes and ready to eat in under an hour.
I made my mine vegetarian, but if you choose to use a meat sauce instead it is completely fine.
What you need:
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 container ricotta cheese (475 g)
- 1 bundle spinach (chopped)
- Pasta sauce
- 2 zucchini
- mozzarella or Italian cheese blend, shredded.
- What you need to do:
Wilt spinach in frying pan. Set aside to cool. Once spinach is cool, blend with ricotta cheese.
With a 9 * 13 inch casserole dish. Begin assembly
Lay out 3 lasagna noodles. Using about 1/3 of mixture, spread cheese mixture evenly over noodles.
Place zucchini and then coat with mozzarella cheese.
Repeat with second layer. Using up any remaining zucchini.
Final layer. Ricotta cheese, tomato sauce then mozzarella cheese.
Bake at 375 for 35 minutes or until cheese is completely melted and bubbly.
Let sit for 5-10 min, serve and enjoy! Serves 4 hungry people.
